Berlin-based fintech bunch has closed a $35 million Series B to modernize private markets infrastructure, according to the company's press release. The round was led by Portage, with participation from Illuminate Financial and follow-on investment from existing backers including Motive Partners, Cherry Ventures, and Fintech Collective.

The timing is deliberate. Private markets assets under management are forecast to hit $32 trillion by 2030, yet much of the operational work behind the scenes still runs on spreadsheets and email threads. bunch is building the alternative: a single, AI-native platform covering the entire fund lifecycle, from investor onboarding and capital calls to compliance, reporting, and accounting.

"GPs cannot scale on spreadsheet-era infrastructure," said Co-Founder and CEO Enrico Ohnemüller. The platform is built specifically for the complexity of multi-jurisdictional European private markets, handling everything from unstructured fund documentation to cross-border regulatory requirements.

The numbers speak for themselves. bunch now supports over 150 fund managers and more than 12,000 LPs, grew its annual recurring revenue by 300% in 2025, and recorded a 156% net revenue retention rate. Clients include FINVIA Family Office, Passion Capital, and Antler.

The fresh capital will go toward commercial expansion in Germany, the UK, and Luxembourg, deeper AI and automation capabilities, and growing the team. With this round, bunch has raised over $58 million in total, making it one of Europe's best-funded platforms dedicated to private fund operations. Founded in Berlin in 2021, the company now operates across Berlin, London, Amsterdam, and Luxembourg.
