Berlin-based AI startup Parloa has announced a deepened partnership with SAP, the global enterprise software giant, marking a significant step in how large companies could handle customer service going forward.
According to a press release from Parloa, the collaboration brings Parloa's AI agents together with SAP Service Cloud AI agents. The goal is straightforward: instead of treating each customer interaction as an isolated event, businesses can now link conversations to real-time data and service processes inside SAP and see them through to actual resolution. No more repeated questions, no more dead ends.
The announcement comes alongside a strategic investment by SAP in Parloa, following the Berlin company's successful Series D funding round. Beyond the capital, SAP is also a Parloa customer itself, using the platform internally to deliver IT support to its own workforce.
"Enterprises need AI that works in real customer conversations, not extended pilots," said Malte Kosub, CEO and co-founder of Parloa. SAP's CEO Christian Klein added that delivering faster, more personalized service at scale requires AI grounded in business processes and governance, which is precisely what the two companies are working to provide together.
Parloa's Agent Management Platform handles the full lifecycle of AI agents, from design to deployment and ongoing optimization. The solution is planned to be available as an SAP Endorsed App, and is already live on the SAP Store.
With 430 employees across Berlin, New York, London and Munich, Parloa is making a strong case that Berlin remains a serious hub for enterprise AI innovation.
